Update, 10:55 p.m.

One-year-old Anyla Moore, who was reportedly abducted from her Gloucester Township day care Wednesday, was found unharmed the same night. Her father was charged and jailed in the alleged kidnapping.

New Jersey State Police's Missing Persons Unit found Anyla and her father, Angelo W. Davis Jr., 22, at a home on Lexington Avenue in Pennsauken. Police allege that Davis, the noncustodial parent, took Anyla from her day care on Wednesday afternoon.

Alerts went out statewide after Anyla was reported missing. The toddler's mother arrived to pick her up from from Kinder Care on Broadacres Drive in Gloucester Township, only to be told Davis had already taken the girl, who lives in Pine Hill.

The girl's mother then called police, who suspected Davis would head to Pennsauken or Camden on public transportation.

Anyla's mother feared for the toddler's safety because Davis has a violent past, has a history of mental health issues, and may be abusing dangerous drugs, according to police.

A joint investigation between Gloucester Township Police, New Jersey State Police and the Camden County Prosecutor's Office uncovered Davis and Anyla.
