Police Seek Alleged Glendora Bank Robber

Gloucester Township Police say the suspect fled the Black Horse Pike PNC Bank branch before he got any cash.

Gloucester Township Police hope the public can help identify a man they say attempted to rob the PNC Bank branch office at 900 Black Horse Pike, in the township's Glendora section, Tuesday morning.

Police released surveillance images from the bank Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect fled the bank without getting any cash after he had slipped a teller a note indicating he was robbing the bank, according to Lt. Jason Gittens.

Police were dispatched to the bank at 10:37 a.m. on a report of a bank robbery.

Police described the suspect as a light-skinned black male who is 20 to 30 years old, thin and about 5 feet, 10 inches tall. The suspect had slight facial hair and was wearing a white T-shirt under a blue, hooded sweatshirt with a zipper, a black jacket, a black knit hat, and blue jeans at the time of the robbery attempt.

Police ask that anyone with information about the suspect call dispatch at 856-228-4500 or the township's anonymous tip line at 856-842-5560, or send an email to police@gtpolice.com.

You don't rob banks on Tuesday, everybody knows Friday is the best day. And he got no money? What happened, did he forget to ask for it?
