Police Seek Suspect in Pair of Attempted Criminal Sexual Contact Incidents

The suspect is accused of attempting to touch two women within 10 minutes at Autumn Ridge Apartment Complex on Little Gloucester Road on Tuesday.

Gloucester Township Police are looking for a suspect who attempted to inappropriately touch two women within 10 minutes at the Autumn Ridge Apartment Complex on Little Gloucester Road on Tuesday.

In the first incident, a man approached a 49-year-old woman to help her clear off her parked car near the "F" building of the complex. While helping her, he grabbed her and attempted to kiss her. The woman screamed, and the man fled on foot.

Police reported to the complex for this incident at 6:35 p.m., and while investigating, responded to a separate incident near the "J" building, in which a man attempted to put his arm around a 20-year-old woman and reach for her chest. She kicked the man and screamed, and he once again fled on foot.

A search of the area by officers and K-9 yielded no results, but the man is believed to be the same in both incidents.

The suspect is described as a light skinned black male in his early 20s between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 with brown eyes and a "pointy nose." He was wearing a black puffy coat, dark pants, a dark knit cap and a scarf covering his mouth.

Anyone with information or who can can identify the suspect in the photo is asked to  call 911 or the GTPD Anonymous Crime Tip Line at 856-842-5560.
