The duo was allegedly concealing merchandise under an oversized blanket that was also being used to cover a baby lying in an infant carrier they had placed in a shopping cart.

When confronted by store security, the suspects discarded most of the merchandise, according to police, and fled to an older model, maroon Jeep Cherokee parked at the store.

Police this week released surveillance images of the suspect to area media.

The female suspect is described as white with dirty blonde hair. She was wearing blue pajama pants and a black coat.
