Police: Teen Struck by Car on Williamstown Road

The accident occurred at Jarvis Road around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

A teen pedestrian was in stable condition Wednesday evening after being struck by a car at Williamstown and Jarvis roads, in the township's Erial section, around 3:30 p.m.

Police say the teen was struck while attempting to cross Williamstown Road at 3:34 p.m. The female driver of the striking vehicle stopped at the scene after striking the unidentified teen, who was taken by ambulance to Cooper University Hospital, in Camden, according to Gloucester Township Police Lt. Brian McKendry.

The driver was taken to Kennedy University Hospital-Stratford for evaluation.

The crash remains under investigation. Police did not identify the driver or pedestrian pending notification of family.
