Just saw on the news at 11 that they've recovered a body that they think may be Ms. Sheppard. I truly hope it is not true. So sad.

I can't be the only one who thinks it is odd that if this is Ms. Shepard, it bears a striking resemblance to the Carol Reiff case. Both women are the petite, roughly the same weight and height, both with reddish hair, both walked out of their homes and disappeared as if into thin air, and if this turns out to be Sheppard, both bodies recovered a few days later in a wooded area. Both occurring just a few miles apart. I'd consider that pretty scary! Hope that the GTPD is on it!

Has Patch updated this story yet? Her body was fond on Tuesday. Cause of death pending autopsy and toxicology reports. No outward signs of foul play. I don't care what they say, in a community like this, 2 dead women found in the woods, matching very similar descriptions, disappearing in the same way, like 5 miles apart?!? Are you kidding me!?! My thoughts and prayers go out to her loved ones. I hope they figure it out soon!
