Social Media Aids Search for Alleged Credit Card Thief

Gloucester Township Police search for a man who used a lost credit card.

Gloucester Township Police have turned to social media again for a credit card fraud case.

Surveillance video from the ShopRite on Blackwood Clementon Road shows a young man, wearing a blue baseball cap with the white letter "B" on the front, see a victim drop her wallet and then pick it up and leave the store.

The man was spotted on another store camera a short time later trying to buy an Xbox system from a Walmart in Somerdale. The purchase was declined, but he was able to buy gas at a nearby Citgo station on the White Horse Pike. Another attempted card purchase in the minimart at the station was declined.
