Stretch of Chews Landing Road to be Closed

A construction project will cause a westbound stretch of the road to be shut down Tuesday.

The westbound side of Chews Landing Road between Lower Landing and Somerdale roads will be closed Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Construction will result in Chews Landing Road's westbound traffic being detoured to the Old Black Horse Pike over the six-and-a-half-hour period, police said.

Detour signs will be placed in the area, and police officers will be stationed at the detour points.
