Teen Girl Airlifted After Dirtbike Crash Near Hickstown Park
The victim suffered multiple injuries in the crash, police said.
A teenage girl who was injured in a dirt bike accident Sunday morning had to be airlifted to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, Gloucester Township Police said.
The unidentified teen was riding in a wooded area about 200 yards off Peter Cheeseman Road across from the Hickstown Community Park just before 10:30 a.m., police said, when she lost control, fell to the ground and was run over by her brother, who was unable to stop or avoid her.
The girl suffered injuries to her back and stomach, police said, and had to be taken from the woods by Erial firefighters and Gloucester Township E.M.S. personnel before being airlifted by JeffStat to Cooper.

Her condition was unknown as of Sunday afternoon, police said.
The crash is under investigation by the Gloucester Township Police Department's Serious Crash Investigation Team; no charges have been filed at this point.
