Alleged Car Burglars Sought in Gloucester Twp.

The pair were captured on video after an alleged burglary near a Planet Fitness.

Gloucester Township police are searching for two men they believe were involved in an alleged vehicle burglary near the Planet Fitness on Blackwood-Clementon Road.

The burglary was reported on Feb. 27, between 7:30 and 8 p.m., police said Tuesday. Credit cards were stolen and one was used at a Shell gas station nearby for a $79 charge.

A short time later, the stolen cards were used for purchases of $500 and $300 in two stores at the Deptford Mall. In one of the stores, Champs sporting goods, a video of the two men police believe were involved in the robbery was retrieved from a surveillance camera as one of the stolen cards was used. The video is included in this report.

One man is described "to be in his 30s to 40s, bald head with a thick beard, wearing a dark coat with a bright yellow hood and dark pants." The other " appears to be in his 30s to 40s, mustache, wearing a dark leather coat, dark wool hat, a lighter colored shirt and pants, and tan work boots."
