Treasurer Charged With Stealing $4,600 From Highland Wrestling Booster Club

Sherry Warren, 44, surrendered to police and was charged with theft.

After a month-long investigation, the treasurer of the Highland Regional High School Wrestling Booster Club was charged with theft of $4,600 from the club, Gloucester Township Police announced on Friday.

Sherry Warren, 44, of Sicklerville, voluntarily surrendered herself to police detectives at the Gloucester Township Police Department.

She was charged with theft. Her bail was set at $20,000, 10 percent cash bail. She was released after posting bail.

Members of the booster club reported the theft to Gloucester

Township Police Detectives after several checks had been returned to the club for insufficient funds.

Following an investigation, police determined that Warren allegedly used the account for her benefit to pay for personal bills, hotels, car repairs, cash, food and on line purchases between December of 2013 and March of this year.
