Two Charged With CDS Possession, Distribution Following ATV Sweep

Joshua Mecough and a 17-year-old were charged on various counts following a sweep of illegal ATV use by Gloucester Township Police.

One adult and one juvenile were arrested after officers observed them consuming marijuana in a wooded area behind the Woods Edge development off of Cross Keys Road.

Officers working an ATV enforcement detail, came upon Joshua Mecough, 18, of Sewell, and a 17 year old juvenile male as they were smoking marijuana in a wooded area that is frequented by ATV riders.

Further investigation revealed that they were in possession of approximately 1/2 pound of marijuana that was packaged in several individuals bags. 

Mecough was charged with possession of CDS with the intent to distribute, possession of CDS over 50 grams, use and under the influence of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The juvenile was charged with possession of CDS under 50 grams, use and under the influence of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were transported to the Gloucester Township Police Department where they were processed and released pending a future court date.

Actually not, J Mac. For starters, legal age in Colorado is 21. That's only one of the issues concerning Colorado drug policy that makes your statement completely wrong. You might want to check out facts before making such erroneous statements.
