Two Erial Men Charged with Stealing from Local Business

The thefts occurred at Divers Academy International, of Erial, Sunday evening.

Two Erial men have been charged with stealing items from within a fenced-in compound belonging to Erial's Divers Academy International this weekend, according to police.

The suspects were arrested shortly after the crime at the Lakeside Business Park commercial diving school was reported to Gloucester Township Police at approximately 6:50 p.m. Sunday, according to Lt. Bob Stavola.

The victim provided police officers dispatched to the Liberty Place business with descriptions of the suspects and the suspect vehicle, which police located in the area a short time later.

Police say the property reported stolen from Divers Academy was recovered from the suspect vehicle and three occupants detained.

James E. Saunders, 48, of Yorkshire Road, has been charged with third-degree theft. He was also charged with criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was lodged in Camden County Jail on $10,000 bail.

Judd Williamson, 53, of St. Moritz Drive, has been charged with third-degree theft and possession of drug paraphernalia, and lodged in Camden County Jail on $10,000 bail.

Jennifer Thomas, 43, of Wenoah, was arrested on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and held on several active warrants, but was not charged in connection with the Divers Academy International theft. She was lodged in the county jail on the warrants.

Police did not indicate what was reported stolen from Divers Academy International.

Investigating officers were Patrolmen Matthew Crabtree and Joseph Eden and Det. Brian Farrell.
