VIDEO: Debit Card Stolen from Library Used at Deptford Walmart

Police are hopeful someone can help to identify the man who used the stolen debit card.

Police have released surveillance video from the Deptford Walmart showing a man making a purchase with a debit card allegedly stolen from the Gloucester Township-Blackwood Rotary Public Library on Monday, Oct. 17.

The video (available to view to the right) released by Gloucester Township Police on its YouTube page Wednesday afternoon also shows the man arrive to the Deptford store, located at 2000 Clements Bridge Rd., in what appears to be a silver SUV, possibly a Volvo or Hyundai.

The surveillance video's time stamp indicates the stolen debit card was used sometime after 6 p.m. on Oct. 17.

The suspect has dark hair and wore his facial hair as a goatee or thin beard at the time of the fraudulent debit card use. He was wearing a T-shirt that says "Loose Moose" on the front of it.

The suspect was accompanied to Walmart by a small boy and a woman, who was carrying a baby in an infant carrier, and purchased two boxes of Huggies diapers and other items.
