County Conducting Emergency Repairs at Lakeland Complex

Repairs are necessary because of damages caused by winter weather.

The Camden County Department of Public Works is conducting emergency repairs on sections of roadway in the Lakeland Complex in Gloucester Township, the county announced on Wednesday.

Repairs are necessary because of damages caused by winter weather.

“This winter has taken a toll on our infrastructure and has had a particularly negative impact on several roadways running through Lakeland,” Freeholder Ian Leonard, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said.  “Camden County is doing the best it can to address these concerns across the County and keep you moving.”

On Wednesday, the county was conducting milling and overlaying on Lakeland Road and Woodbury-Turnersville Road. No roads were scheduled to be closed during the projects. Alternating traffic control will be in effect.

The Camden County Freeholder Board is requesting help from residents identifying areas of concern throughout the county.
