Gloucester Township Honors the Fallen With Memorial Day Ceremony

The ceremony was held at Veterans Memorial Park Monday morning.

Gloucester Township Police, Gloucester Township Mayor David Mayer and Council took part in the Gloucester Township Memorial Day Service on Monday.

The ceremony began at 11 a.m. at the Lieutenant Colonel Samuel M. Siler Veterans’ Memorial Park on Chews Landing Road.

The yearly Memorial Day Service was held to honor Gloucester Township’s fallen heroes who have laid down their lives to protect the United States of America and its people.

These brave men and women are remembered with reverence for their sacrifices.

The Gloucester Township Veterans Affairs Committee laid wreaths at different monuments throughout the township and returned to Veterans Park prior to 11 a.m. There was also a parade at Veterans’ Park.
