Mayor Hosts Town Hall by Phone Tonight

Gloucester Township Mayor David Mayer pitches the call-in session as an opportunity "to receive input from our citizens about how we can improve the quality of life in our community."

Gloucester Township Democrats released the following press release:

Gloucester Township Mayor Dave Mayer will host an hour-long Telephone Town Hall Meeting from 7 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27. Residents are encouraged to call toll free (888) 409-5380 from their home or cell phone to participate in a live question-and-answer session with Mayer.

“The goal of this live Telephone Town Hall Meeting is to encourage participation in township government and to receive input from our citizens about how we can improve the quality of life in our community,” said Mayer. “This will be an interactive opportunity for residents to share their vision of the township’s future and discuss how we can work together for a better Gloucester Township.”

The live Telephone Town Hall Meeting is open to all residents of Gloucester Township. Residents will receive a phone call prior to the start of the meeting.  Those residents that are available and want to participate can stay on the line to share their ideas with Mayer. A recorded message with directions to join the call will be left for residents that do not answer. Residents who do not receive a phone call can also call the toll-free number, (888) 409-5380, from their home or cell phone to participate.
