Post-Sandy Gloucester Twp. Recycling Update

Homes where recyclables were supposed to be picked up Monday and Tuesday will now be picked up Friday and Saturday.

After initially indicating that residences regularly scheduled for trash and recycling pick-ups on Monday and Tuesday would not receive either service till next week due to Superstorm Sandy, Gloucester Township on Wednesday announced that recyclables will be picked up from those homes Friday and Saturday.

The following locations did not have recyclables picked up on Monday, Oct. 29, due to the storm: Black Horse Pike (from Front Street to Evesham Road), Evesham Road from Route 41 to Randy Road, Fernwood, Glendora and Whitebirch. Recyclables for these regular Monday pick-up locations will now be picked up on Friday, Nov. 2, the township announced.

The following locations did not have recyclables picked up on Tuesday, Oct. 30, due to the storm: Asten Ridge, Asten Woods, Brittany Woods, Cobblestone, Country Aire, Cross Keys Rd. (from Johnson Rd. to Williamstown Rd.), Debbie Court, Felicia Court, Gloucester Farms, Jarvis Rd. (from Sicklerville Rd. to Williamstown Rd.), Johnson Rd., Kingsgate, Lake Renee, Mayfair Meadows, Mayfair Woods, Meadowbrook, Mill Ct., Mulberry Station, Pine Glen, Reserve at Cobblestone, Revere Run I, Sicklerville Rd. (from Cross Keys Rd. to Jarvis Rd.), Spring Hollow, Spring Valley, Twin Streams, Valley Stream, Williamstown Rd. (from Cross Keys Rd. to Jarvis), Woodhill, Woods Edge. Recyclables for these regular Tuesday pick-up locations will now be picked up on Saturday, Nov. 3.

Recycling for all other locations in Gloucester Township has not been affected by the hurricane and will be picked up on the regular schedule.
