Repairs are slated to take place from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday at various locations on Woodbury Turnersville Road. Work continues Wednesday at various locations on Salina Road and Thursday at various locations on Lakeland Road.
Timing of the project depends on he weather and other factors. A snowstorm is expected Wednesday night.
“This winter has taken a toll on our infrastructure and has had a particularly negative impact on several roadways running through Lakeland,” Freeholder Ian Leonard, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works said. “In light of this impact the county will be moving forward with several emergency repairs to remediate the area.”
No roads will be closed at any time during the projects as alternating traffic control will be in effect.
“If your travel plans include any of these roadways, please give yourself extra time to reach your destination or plan an alternate route to avoid traffic delays,” Leonard said. “Whenever you are driving through a road construction zone, please stay prepared for traffic pattern changes and be observant of instructions.”
The Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders is enlisting the aid of the public in identifying other problem areas throughout the county.
