Speed Remains Restricted, Raised to 45 MPH on Parkway, Turnpike

Slower speeds necessary while salting and plowing underway

Speed is restricted to 45 mph on the NJ Turnpike and Garden State Parkway for salting and plowing operations, according to updates posted on the NJ Turnpike Authority website late Friday morning.

  • As of 11:34am, there's a Speed restriction on the New Jersey Turnpike in both directions between Delaware Memorial Bridge in Pennsville Twp and George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee Speed reduced to 45mph for Salting and Plowing operations.
  • As of 11:24am, there's a Speed restriction on the Garden State Parkway in both directions between Southern Terminus/CR 109 in Cape May and New York State Line in Montvale Speed Reduced to 45mph for Salting and Plowing operations.
