State Budget Panel to Host Forum at CCC

The Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee will hear from the public in the middle of the month.

The state Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee will be at Camden County College's Blackwood campus on March 15 to hear area residents' thoughts on Gov. Chris Christie's proposed fiscal year 2012 budget, according to Senate Democrats.

Citizens will be given the opportunity to speak directly to lawmakers who sit on the Budget and Appropriations Committee at the public forum about the proposed budget's potential impacts.

The first public hearing will be held March 7 at Bergen Community College, in Paramus, beginning at 9 a.m..
