Township to Auction Surplus Vehicles, Equipment Saturday

The auction ground opens for item inspections at 9 a.m., with the auction slated to begin at 10 a.m.

Gloucester Township will auction surplus township vehicles and equipment, as well as three confiscated vehicles, this Saturday.

The auction-style sale will be held at the Department of Public Works compound on Erial Road.

Available to the highest bidders will be Ford Crown Victoria police vehicles, pickup trucks, weed whackers, lawn mowers, desks, computers, printers, more than 100 bicycles, and much more.

Minimum bids on vehicles range from $500 to $2,000.

The auction is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Township Business Administrator Tom Cardis noted during Township Council's workshop meeting Monday night that the auction ground will open at 9 a.m. so interested bidders can inspect vehicles and equipment.
