Tennis at Gloucester Twp Day Draws Many Interested Potential Players

Great times were had by everyone at Gloucester Twp. Day this past Saturday, June 2nd, at Veteran's Memorial Park. At the Gotta Play Tennis booth, this was no exception. It was fantastic to see both current students–from spring programs held at Gloucester Twp. Community Park–as well as new families not aware of the tennis opportunities available for their kids right in the Gloucester Twp. area. Many of these parents expressed past interest in getting their 5-10 year olds involved with such a positive activity such as tennis only to turned off by expensive programs at various south jersey tennis clubs. 

That is why we at Gotta Play Tennis Kids were anxious to share our information about upcoming sessions, camps, and events within the community this summer. Parents were excited about the low-barrier-to-entry since all equipment is provided, family-friendly registration fees that come with multiple player discounts, and the benefit of having a certified tennis instructor work with their children in a local recreational program.

Many of these families will no doubt be visiting Gloucester Twp. Community Park on June 22nd as Gotta Play Tennis offers a Tennis Family Fun Day for all ages. This free event will showcase the kinds of activities both parents and kids get to experience in our programs and camps as we invite everyone onto the courts (provided by Gloucester Twp. Recreation). We hope to see lots of folks check us out and participate in shotmaking and activities in this hands-on environment.

Neither equipment nor previous tennis experience is required. See you on the court!
