ACLU Suing Gloucester Township School District For Discrimination

The district is one of three in Camden County and seven statewide being sued, the Courier Post reports.

The Gloucester Township School District is one of three school districts in Camden County and seven statewide being sued by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) for policies that "discriminate against immigrant families attempting to enroll their children in the district," the Courier Post reports.

Gloucester Township, Somerdale and Audubon are being sued because they require photo identification issued by the government in order to enroll in their district, which the ACLU says is illegal, according to the report.
