Award-Winning T-Shirt by Township Student Not Available for Retail Sale

Parents and students have been looking for the T-shirt.

The award-winning T-shirt designed by a Gloucester Township fourth-grader is not available for sale in local P.S. from Aeropostale stores, a company representative said this week.

Kelsey Bell, a student at Union Valley Elementary School, won a national competition for her age group in a contest sponsored by the youth retailer. There were more than 50,000 contestants. Kelsey was honored in a ceremony at her school last month.

At that time, many who attended the ceremony believed the T-shirt would be available at a P.S. from Aeropostale store in Marlton. It is not.

A company representative said there were only 50 T-shirts made of the design for Kelsey to hand out to family and friends. It was not immediately reported if special orders of the design are available.

Please look for an update when information becomes available.
