A trip to Fort Pierce, FL, appears to be exactly what the Highland baseball team needed. The bats came alive for the Tartans last week in an 18-0 win over Stuyvesant, NY. Chris Giambri and Joe Sigismondi each had a double in the game, while Matt Miniconzi tripled. The Tartans pounded out 12 hits, while Frank Angeloni picked up the win on the mound.

Highland also scored a 3-1 win over Garden State opponent West Windsor-South Plainfield. Tyler Allen struck out seven and worked his way out of a bases-loaded jam in the seventh to preserve the win.
