Viewfinder: Blackwood Elementary Students Celebrate Thanksgiving

Students in Julia Donahue's T-1 class at Blackwood Elementary School held their Fall Family Feast on Monday. They performed a Native American dance and ate traditional Thanksgiving food with their families.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, students from Julia Donahue's T-1 class in celebrated the holiday with their Fall Family Feast on Monday.

The students performed a Native American dance for the school administration and their parents. Donahue stated that students had spent the month of November learning about the story of Thanksgiving and Native American culture.

After their dance, the students and their families ate a Thanksgiving meal complete with turkey, stuffing, corn, cranberries and more.
