Family Matters- Internet, Social Media & Kids

Please join us this Saturday for Family Matters!

Family Matters is a new community program in Gloucester Township. Family Matters is hosted by St. John's Episcopal Church in Chews Landing, and meets monthly.  Family Matters highlights everyday common issues, topics and situations that arise in family life by bringing subject matter experts to educate the audience.

The topic for Saturday, 9/22 is Internet, Social Media & Kids. There are two experts coming speak, discuss
and answer questions with parents how to engage their child/children in discussions about safe, appropriate internet behavior. Our subject matter experts are Gloucester Township DARE Officer, Ofc. Jennifer McLaughlin, who will be speaking about cyber safety from a law enforcement perspective and a local, licensed family counselor, Ms. Tuanjanette Poole, LCSW, MSW, MTS, who
will be speaking about how to talk to your child about what and what not to do while on the internet.
