This course will focus on the trilogy The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins, in the context of dystopian and science fiction novels and short stories. Themes associated with Greek myth and Roman gladiatorial games will also be discussed. Meets 10/1, 8, 15, 22 & 29. Professional development available for educators.
