It'll be a free day for Gloucester Township students, after all the elementary, middle and the three Black Horse Pike Regional high schools made the call early to close Monday following Sunday's worse-than-expected storm.

Portions of the township got anywhere from a little over three to six inches or more of snow through the early portion of the storm, leaving roads treacherous throughout the area.

The most beautiful thing about this storm was the fact that nothing I saw, with the possible exception of some main thruways, was plowed. Apparently our emergency response was no response at all.
