Lambert Chooses Rutgers

The Timber Creek star will continue his education and football career at Rutgers University.

Timber Creek's Quanzell Lambert announced today that he will attend Rutgers University.

The All-American linebacker was also considering Nebraska and Iowa.

"They're getting, in my opinion, the top linebacker in the country," Timber Creek head coach Rob Hinson said. "The kid is physically impressive. Takes on blocks. Can run around blocks. Can chase people down. Can run sideline to sideline. Can defend the pass. Plays hard. Plays smart."
