New D.A.R.E. Graduates in Township Schools

Police are honoring students for completing a drug-avoidance curriculum.

Gloucester Township police are holding graduations this month for elementary students who complete a new D.A.R.E. drug-avoidance curriculum.

The Too Good For Drugs Curriculum focused on developing personal and intrapersonal skills to resist peer pressure, establish goals, make informed decisions, bond with others, learn respect for themselves and others,
manage emotions, and effectively communicate. The students also learned about the negative consequences of drug use and the benefits of a nonviolent, drug free lifestyle.

Police officials hope the students will form a lasting bond with the department.
