Township Teachers 'Overwhelmingly' Approve New Contract

The board is set to vote on the proposal on June 24.

The township school board is set to vote on a new teachers contract at its next meeting on June 24.

Teachers ratified the agreement last week.

The teachers had been working without a contract for the past year. Details of the agreement have not been released.

Gloucester Township Education Association President Angel McDermott said Tuesday the agreement was passed by an “overwhelming majority” of her members.
