Whiz Kids: He Was Our First

Greg Adoff is GT Patch's first returning Whiz Kid.

  • Whiz Kid's Accomplishment - Gregory was Gloucester Township Patch's first "Whiz Kid," back on Feb. 9, after he scored a perfect 800 on the math section of the SAT as a junior. Well, he took the college-entrance exam again and scored a 2,280 (2,400 is a perfect score), including another perfect 800 in math. Gregory, who ranks first in the Timber Creek Class of 2012 with a 4.6 GPA, is applying to Johns Hopkins University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a handful of Ivy League schools, according to Timber Creek guidance counselor Wendy Calandra.
  • Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness - "Gregory has pursued a highly challenging program of studies all four years and has a true dedication to his studies and enthusiasm for learning," Calandra said of the aspiring genetic engineer.
