Whiz Kids: This Week's Has Great 'Voice'

The top-ranked student of Timber Creek's junior class was recently recognized by Veterans of Foreign Wars for his "Voice of Democracy" essay.

  • Whiz Kid's Name - Frank Brancati
  • Whiz Kid's Age - 17
  • Whiz Kid's School - Timber Creek Regional High School
  • Whiz Kid's Accomplishment - Ranked No. 1 in the junior class at Timber Creek, this Erial resident recently was awarded first place at the county and district levels for his entry in the Veterans of Foreign Wars' "Voice of Democracy" essay contest.
  • Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness - Plain and simple, Frank loves to learn. That much is obvious based on his standing at the top of his class and his extensive list of extracirricular activities, which includes work on the school's Morning Jolt production team, student council, The Current newspaper staff,  science club and library council. Frank is also active with organizations that support military men, women and families, including Marines Toys 4 Tots and Military Support Group of New Jersey.
