How Did Gloucester Township Residents Fare in the Boston Marathon?

Shawn D'Andrea finished in 2:39.36, about half an hour behind the overall winner.

A Gloucester Township man was about a half hour away from winning Monday’s Boston Marathon.

Shawn D’Andrea finished the 118th annual event in two hours, 39 minutes, 36 seconds, according to the Boston Athletic Association's website.

Meb Keflezighi became the first American since 1983 to win the race, finishing the course in 2:08.37.

Mario Sergio, of Blackwood, also ran in Monday’s race. He finished the course in 3:17.50.
