The Black Horse Pike will be briefly closed to vehicular traffic Saturday for the Blackwood Kiwanis Little League parade.

The Black Horse Pike will be closed to vehicular traffic between Church Street and Davistown Road from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday to accommodate the Blackwood Kiwanis Little League's opening day parade.

Police encourage motorists to follow the marked detour route to avoid delays. Officers will be stationed at closure points to assist drivers with directions.

The parade will feature Blackwood Fire Co. trucks, the Police Department's award-winning D.A.R.E. truck, a Mummers string band, local professional sports teams' mascots, and, of course, Blackwood Kiwanis Little League teams.
