Timber Creek Football Defeats Cherry Hill West [Photos]

The Chargers had some trouble with a pesky Lions squad in the first half, but pulled away in the second half for the win.

Cherry Hill West struck first and hung with Timber Creek through the first half, but the Chargers found another gear after halftime to walk away with the 52-28 win Friday night.

West got on the board on a pass from Rodney Williams to Quinton Jenkins and led until midway through the second quarter, when Timber Creek took a 20-14 lead on Kareem Ali's 42-yard score, part of a 27-point quarter for the Chargers.

West struck back almost immediately with a Williams-to-Dwuan Allen 62-yard score, but Timber Creek reeled off two unanswered touchdowns to close out the first half, then scored twice more in the third quarter to pull away.
