Timber Creek Football Trounces Camden Catholic [Photos]

The Chargers walked away with the season opener Friday night.

Timber Creek's Dan Williams and Adonis Jennings were a nearly unstoppable two-man aerial attack, as the two seniors connected on three touchdowns to help lead the Chargers to a 34-7 victory on the road at Camden Catholic in the football season opener Friday night.

Williams racked up 279 yards passing on the night, more than half of it to Jennings, who caught 10 passes for 155 yards.

The Chargers took a 7-0 lead on the first Williams-to-Jennings touchdown in the first quarter, and had built that to 21-0 on another Jennings catch and Isaiah Austin's 6-yard run through the heart of the Irish defense.

Though Timber Creek allowed Camden Catholic back in the game on Jahier Frankin's 85-yard kick return touchdown, another Jennings touchdown—this one for 44 yards—put the Chargers back up by three scores, and Austin added a second rushing touchdown to finish off the scoring effort.

Next up on the slate is Timber Creek's home opener, Sept. 20 against Eastern at 7 p.m.
