Gloucester Township Movie Night in the Park Returns Next Week

Movie Night in the Park, a monthly event aimed at bringing families together for some family-friendly fun, kicks off June 21.

Gloucester Township will hold its first Movie Night in the Park on Thursday, June 21, at Lt. Col. Samuel M. Siler Veterans Memorial Park.

According to the Gloucester Township recreation supervisor Bill Fagan, the first movie that will be shown is Cars 2.   

“It’s an opportunity to get the community out, get together and have a good time,” says Fagan.

According to the township’s website, the movie will begin at dusk. Games and food will be available starting at 7 p.m. Fagan says that there will also be some small door prizes for the kids.   

Movie Night is held through a partnership of the Municipal Alliance Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse, PNC Bank, Ray Piccolo Reality, the Gloucester Township Recreation Department and Community Services.

This upcoming movie night is only one in a series of movies that will be shown this summer season. All future movie nights will be held at the same time and same place.
