GTPD Thanks Participants, Recaps Tuesday's National Night Out

There were 27 organized National Night Out events in Gloucester Township, police said.

Gloucester Township Police Department on Friday issued the following recap of 2012 National Night Out events in the township:

Chief Harry Earle and all members of the Gloucester Township Police Department want to thank all of those that made this year’s National Night Out events the best and most attended ever. Our residents showed the importance of building a partnership together and showing support to help the Gloucester Township Police Department eliminate crime in Gloucester Township.  

There were 27 National Night Out locations that were visited during the event. Events ranged from a family barbecue to a community celebration at Blackwood Fire Co.
