DOMA Struck Down: South Jersey Reacts

South Jersey Twitter users immediately began posting their reaction to the Defense of Marriage Act ruling. What do you think?

The Supreme Court Wednesday declared the Defense of Marriage Act, which defined marriage as between a man and woman, unconstitutional.

The ruling paves the way for all states with gay marriage laws to have those marriages federally recognized with benefits given to heterosexual couples, including Social Security, tax and retirement benefits.

As the court rulings came down, tweets flowed fast and furious around Twitter, with the reactions overwhelmingly positive and celebratory. Here are a selection of reactions from South Jersey Twitter accounts.
