The Blackwood section of Gloucester Township serves as home to the main campus of one of New Jersey's largest county colleges. Founded in 1967, Camden County College is an accredited, two-year school that offers 44 programs of study, ranging from automotive technology to English and from nursing to chemistry. The college and the New Jersey Institute of Technology jointly offer bachelor's degree programs at the Blackwood campus.
