Patch/NJ Aid for Animals Adopt-a-Pet of the week.
New Jersey Aid for Animals (NJAFA) board member Kelly Matthews submitted the following to Patch regarding a dog in need of a home: Lulu is a very pretty Hound/Pointer/Lab mix, about 18 months old and weighs 50 pounds. She loves to fetch a tennis ball and play with squeaky toys and has learned how to sit, drop and leave. Patch has partnered with NJ Aid for Animals to bring readers a "Pet of the Week" each Sunday.

If you're looking for a dog that fits into your athletic lifestyle, Pluto is the guy for you. He totally loves high energy activities…

New Jersey Aid for Animals advisory board member Kelly Matthews, a Gloucester Township resident, submitted the following to Patch: Meet Hooch! He's a lover for sure and wants nothing more than to be with people. Hooch is a pit mix, tan in color, neutered and up to date on all shots. He weighs about 40 pounds and has white toes and makes the funniest faces, which is why we named him Hooch! Currently he is spending his days goofing off with his friend Pluto, who you will meet next week, so we know he's great with other dogs. The most noticeable trait Hooch has is his willingness to please—he just wants to make his "person" happy. Hooch would do best in a home with no cats since he did have problems with them at one time. He will need a …
