Hilltop Brothers, PA Man Charged in Glendora Burglary

Investigators charge the three men in a burglary that resulted in heavy police activity near Glendora Elementary School Wednesday afternoon.

Police have charged two Gloucester Township residents and a Philadelphia man with breaking into a Glendora home and stealing a safe on Wednesday. The three men charged in the Huntington Avenue burglary are Hilltop residents Daniel Rollick, 21, and Matthew Rollick, 18, and Philadelphia resident Domenic Romano, 21, Gloucester Township Police Capt. Jeff Weiserth announced this evening. Daniel and Matthew Rollick are brothers, according to police. Daniel Rollick and Domenic Romano have been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary. Both men were released on their own recognizance. Matthew Rollick was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and loitering to commit a drug offense. GTPD: Social Media Tips Lead to Two Arrests

Police credit social media in the arrest of a man accused of stealing $27,000 worth of jewelry from Kmart in late September.

Gloucester Township police are crediting their social media efforts with two more arrests, including the apprehension of a man accused of stealing $27,000 worth of gold earrings from the Blackwood Clementon Road Kmart in late September. Investigators on Sept. 25 posted surveillance video of the Sept. 23 Kmart jewelry heist to the police department's YouTube page and released surveillance images on its Twitter and Facebook pages. The release of the surveillance video and images prompted several tips to the township's anonymous crime tip line, allowing the Criminal Investigations Bureau to identify Marvin Pollitt, 42, as a suspect, Capt. Brawl at Howard Johnson Inn Nets 8 Arrests

The melee occurred early Monday morning at the Black Horse Pike motel.

Gloucester Township Police Department on Monday afternoon issued the following press release regarding an incident at Howard Johnson Express Inn: On June 25, 2012, at approximately 1:34 a.m., officers from the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to the HoJo Inn on the Black Horse Pike in Blenheim for a report of 30 people involved in a fight. Upon officers arrival, multiple vehicles were attempting to flee the area. An investigation was conducted of the occupants of these vehicles along with numerous individuals in the parking lot and on the third floor of the hotel. As a result of this investigation, eight people from various towns were arrested and charged with offenses such as possession of a controlled dangerous substance, …

UPDATE: Police Release Info on Three Charged in Tech School Lockdown

Police charged three students at Camden County Vocational Schools-Gloucester Township Campus after finding an imitation firearm there Monday.

The township campus of the Camden County Technical Schools system was placed on lockdown Monday morning after school officials reported a student was in possession of a handgun. Gloucester Township Police recovered what was described as an imitiation firearm during a search of the Berlin-Cross Keys Road vo-tech school. Three students—a 16-year-old Lindenwold boy and two Camden boys, 16 and 17—have been charged with the following offenses: possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, unlawful possession of a weapon, false public alarm, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction of justice. Three Charged with Metal Theft, Drug Offenses

Three men, including a Blackwood resident, were arrested Saturday afternoon on the Black Horse Pike.

Police charged three men with theft and narcotics offenses Saturday after they say they found a hypodermic syringe with heroin inside a pickup truck an officer pulled over on the Black Horse Pike on suspicion it was involved in the theft of metal from a local business earlier in the day. Gloucester Township Police Ptl. Eric Marconi stopped the pickup truck in which the three men were traveling after a witness had earlier provided a description matching it while officers initially investigated the theft of metal from Iron Asylum, located at 109 N. Black Horse Pike, according to Lt. Edward Bryant. Marconi arrested the pickup's driver, identified as 36-year-old Browns Mill resident Douglas Reynolds, on the charge of driving while intoxicated…

GTPD Charges Duo in Attempted Burglaries

The two men were arrested in Runnemede early Thursday.

Gloucester Township Police have charged two men in connection with smash-and-grab burglaries of two convenience stores early Thursday. The duo—a Camden County man and a Gloucester County man—was arrested in Runnemede at around 4:25 a.m. Thursday after they had broken into a convenience store there on Evesham Road, the Courier-Post reported. It was a vehicle description township police provided to area police departments that helped Runnemede Police nab the two men—Thomas Rosa, 44, of Camden, and Jaime L. Police: Resident Thwarts Burglar, Arrests Follow

The victim was able to provide police with suspect and vehicle descriptions.

Police charged three people with burglary-related offenses after an Erial resident thwarted a home break-in late Tuesday morning. Gloucester Township Police were dispatched to a home on the 700 block of Hickstown Road at 11:32 a.m. on a report a man had forced open the front door there. The victim, who was home at the time of the burglary and apparently scared off the burglars, was able to provide descriptions of the suspects and the vehicle they was traveling in, police said. Police located a car matching the description provided by the victim heading north on Route 42 and stopped it in Deptford Township a short time later. Police Nab 12 During DWI Enforcement Push

Police made four of those arrests during Labor Day weekend.

Township police arrested 12 motorists on the charge of driving while intoxicated during the recent "Over the Limit, Under Arrest" enforcement push. Four of those arrests came over the Labor Day holiday weekend, Gloucester Township Police Lt. Brian McKendry said. Officers working on the "Over the Limit, Under Arrest" details also issued 38 tickets for speeding and 83 for driving on a suspended license, among other violations, over the two-plus weeks. The state Division of Highway Traffic Safety supplied the township police department with a $4,400 grant to fund DWI patrols during the enforcement push, which began Aug. 19 and ended Sept. 5. Three Charged in PNC Bank Robbery

A 17-year-old Sicklerville boy is among the three charged in Tuesday's bank robbery.

Three Sicklerville residents, including a juvenile, are charged with conspiring to rob the Cross Keys Road PNC Bank Tuesday morning. The three suspects were arrested at a Mayfair Meadows home located about a quarter mile from the bank, which is located at 679 Cross Keys Rd., at Johnson Road, according to police. The robbery was reported to police at 11:37 a.m. Responding police units were told two of the three suspects entered the bank, threatened a teller by indicating they were armed with a gun, and fled with roughly $16,000, according to Gloucester Township Police Deputy Chief David Harkins.
