Gloucester Township Police arrested a Pine Hill man they say tried to rob Glendora bank earlier in the week. Police took Logan Hawkins, 33, into custody on Feb. 21. He is accused of passing a note to a teller demanding cash on Feb. 19 at the PNC Bank on the Black Horse Pike. Hawkins left empty-handed, police said. Police zeroed in on Hawkins after tips from the public. Police had released surveillance footage of the incident, and the pictures clearly showed a subject's face. Gloucester Township Police hope the public can help identify a man they say attempted to rob the PNC Bank branch office at 900 Black Horse Pike, in the township's Glendora section, Tuesday morning. Police released surveillance images from the bank Tuesday afternoon. The suspect fled the bank without getting any cash after he had slipped a teller a note indicating he was robbing the bank, according to Lt. Jason Gittens. Police were dispatched to the bank at 10:37 a.m. on a report of a bank robbery. Police described the suspect as a light-skinned black male who is 20 to 30 years old, thin and about 5 feet, 10 inches tall.
