A year after the race sold out in five server-crash-filled hours, Broad Street Run officials on Wednesday released lottery details for the 2013 race on the race website. With 40,000 spots up for grabs, the lottery will open at 12:01 a.m. Feb. 4 and close Feb. 15 at 11:59 p.m., and race officials encouraged runners to spread out registrations over the 12-day period, as lottery chances are equal no matter when runners register.
