Deja Bullock has scored more than 1,000 points and grabbed 1,000-plus rebounds in her career at Triton. All she wants to do now is win.
Shortly after signing her letter of intent to attend La Salle University on a basketball scholarship, Triton Regional High School senior Deja Bullock spoke about her what she wanted to accomplish during her senior season. There were personal goals, such as getting her 1,000th rebound and 1,000th point, and there were team goals, including having a winning season and making a deep run in the playoffs. Bullock was able to accomplish her personal goals, grabbing rebound No. 1,000 early in the season, and scoring point No. 1,000 two weeks ago. The team goals didn’t look like they had much of a chance after the Mustangs opened the season 3-7, but things have turned around of late, and suddenly the Mustangs are playing like a team that belongs …

The Timber Creek wrestling team wrapped up a division title while a pair of basketball teams had their best weeks of the season.
It was a week of surges for the Highland boys’ basketball team and Triton girls’ hoops team, who combined to go 5-1. Also last week, the Timber Creek wrestling team wrapped up a division crown and the Tartans’ Brian Ceaser placed second at the Tri-County Conference Showcase. In other news, linebacker Quanzell Lambert will take some time to re-think his decision to attend Rutgers University after the team's football coach left the program to coach the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Things keep on rolling this week as the basketball teams look to build their playoff resumes before Friday’s NJSIAA cutoff date. Wednesday should provide some great moments for several local athletes who will announce their college intent during National College Signing …

With the playoffs less than a month away, things are shaping up for the local sports teams.
There was plenty of excitement to be found on the hardwood last week as the Timber Creek girls’ basketball team and Highland boys’ basketball team each tasted overtime wins, while the Triton boys’ hoops team won a pair of one-possession contests. Also, the Timber Creek wrestling team stayed undefeated, and the Highland swim team picked up another win. Meanwhile, Black Horse Pike Regional rivals renew their grudge match this week as Triton and Timber Creek square off in a trio of winter sports. Below is a look back at the week that was in local sports, as well as a glimpse at this week’s schedule. BOYS’ BASKETBALL Triton continued its turnaround, with a solid showing in a loss to undefeated Cherry Hill East, and a pair of one-possession …
