'Plowable' Amount of Snow Headed to Gloucester Township Friday

Meteorologists are tracking a snowstorm that looks to have an impact on the Delaware Valley this weekend.

If dealing with freezing temperatures every day this week wasn’t enough, Gloucester Township can now expect a “plowable” amount of snow on Friday. According to meteorologists with the National Weather Service (NWS) in Mount Holly, a low pressure system moving over the area Friday will bring bring with it even colder temperatures and a snowstorm. Kristin Kline, of the NWS, said officials do not have specific amounts as far as accumulation goes just yet, but it could be “several inches.” Meteorologists will know more Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures reached 105 in some places, with the heat index topping 110 pretty much everywhere in the area at one point or another. Plenty. Kids eat when they're hungry. Kids drink when they're thirsty. But when it's that hot outside, it's important to keep the youngsters hydrated. So, GT Patch asks: How do you make sure your children stay hydrated? What do you tell them to make sure they know to keep drinking water even if they might not be …
