Karen Leonetti failed to appear in state Superior Court in Woodbury on a drug-possession charge, authorities said.
Karen M. Leonetti, 53, of Washington Way Apartments, Blackwood, is wanted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office on a warrant. After police helped a man locked out of his car, they allegedly found a large stash of illegal prescription pills and hypodermic needles inside the vehicle.
He probably should have just called AAA instead. A fugitive from West Virginia was arrested Friday after he asked police for help because he'd locked himself out of his rental vehicle. At 1:49 p.m., police responded to TD Bank on College Drive for a report of a disoriented man in the parking lot. There, officers found 35-year-old Charles Willis, who asked them for help getting into his locked vehicle. Once police unlocked the car, they found hundreds of illegally obtained prescription drugs and several hypodermic needles, according to a news release.
